Witness the Himalayan mountain pass near Tawang where the Dalai Lama crossed into India territory to escape from Chinese persecution. If I don't ride a motorcycle can I come on tour as a passenger?

Yes! It's a Enfield is Prayer speciality where you can ride as a passenger with our tour leaders and experience EIP crew and partners. One of the best ways to travel and experience the Himalayan Mountains, off the beaten path, is on a Royal Enfield. 6 inches from the pavement, you are not only looking at the scenery, but you are part of the scenery.

polaroid2 copy.jpg

I am an experienced motorcycle rider and this is my first tour with Enfield is Prayer. Can you help me with flight schedules and hotel bookings for my stay before the tour?

Any and all expenses outside the tour dates,  November 13 - 26th 2024 ,  such as flights,  hotels,  taxi's,  motorcycle gear,  and all personal items are not included in the tour.     However,  we will be happy to assist you to recommend hotels,  flight schedules,  airport transfers,  etc.   We will guide you to the shops where you can get needed supplies and motorcycle gear.

For experienced riders first time with EIP, we recommend you attend our Zen Motorcycle Integration course - Himalayan edition.

polaroid2 copy copy.jpg

- Is it safe to travel India on motorcycles and do you provide insurance?

We do NOT provide any insurance of any kind.  Traveling around India and traveling by motorcycle is inherently dangerous. It can result in serious or fatal injuries to you and others. You will be solely responsible for your own risk and liabilities and to obtain your own insurance and hold harmless the organizers of the tour and any others associated with the tour.

Enfield is Prayer is NOT a license company. We are not incorporated, licensed, bonded or insured. We merely act as an organizing entity to recommend hotels and restaurants and help rent Enfield's to ride in India.

We will go over all the safety ins and outs in our pre-tour meeting before we start the tour. Just a couple of quick things we do.  We recommend you ride slow and always 100% in control at all times. No need to add karma to the road, the Himalayan mountains are enough.  We have a method to shield our new riders when we cross intersections until everyone is familiar with the flow of the Indian traffic and at the end of the day, its up to every individual to take their own responsibility to be aware and focused on the road. This is our motorcycle meditations. This is where we look deep inside ourselves and witness our reactions and how we respond to moments. Challenging situations will arise, and most of us will take this as an opportunity to Rise to the occasion!
